Irish Voiceovers contacts production companies, animation studios, app developers, and media agencies with business email addresses because these companies regularly commission voiceover work. Contact details are sourced from public business registers and company websites. We have a legitimate business interest in contacting relevant decision-makers (Producers, Directors, Heads of Content, etc.) about services that demonstrably support their industry. Each contact is researched individually to ensure relevance to their business activities.

We currently collect and process the following information:

• Contact Name 
• Email Address 
• Business Name and type of service provided
• Company Status

How we get the personal information and why we have it:

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

• Enquire regarding a quote
• Commence a contract
• Obtain information regarding Irish Voiceovers

We use the information that you have given us in order to maintain or initiate contact and potentially develop a working relationship. 

We also gather contact information indirectly, from the following sources:

• Websites, social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Soundcloud, and Youtube)

We use publicly available information such as that listed above  in order to  initiate business to business (B2B) contact only. 

We may share any of the above listed  information with regulatory bodies if requested and/or required under law.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(b) We have a contractual obligation.

(c) We have a legitimate interest – We have conducted a Legitimate Interest Assessment, to ensure legal basis

How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely  stored within a two factor authenticated Mailchimp account only, and nowhere else. You can read more about Mailchimp's GDPR compliance here.

We keep your information there as long as it is useful, or until you request us to dispose of it. We will then dispose of your information by secure and permanent deletion.

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. *only if you have been contacted under the legal basis of Legitimate Interest. 

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances. *only if you have been contacted under the legal basis of consent or contract.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
